LD or Low Density are
by FAR the better quality and most expensive.
A spilt cup of coffee caused by the failure of the
sack can be an unsightly and far more expensive to
remove. Prevention is always better than the cure.
Better quality sacks that may cost a bit more, but
can be better value in the long run.
LD Sacks ARE SUITABLE
FOR PAPER, PACKAGING, VENDING CUPS AND SMALL AMOUNTS
OF LIQUID, TIN CANS, FOOD WASTE, FOLDED CARDBOARD
AND PACKAGING MATERIALS.
HD or High Density
sacks are thin and crinkly and are
SUITABLE FOR
LIGHTWEIGHT WASTE, SUCH AS PAPER, ENVELOPES, AND ANY
GENERAL PACKAGING MATERIALS.
NOT SUITABLE FOR ANY
LIQUIDS AND RIGID OBJECTS.
MD or Medium Density
is suitable as a quality product that attempts to
balance cost with performance.
SUITABLE FOR PAPER,
PACKAGING MATERIALS, VENDING CUPS, TIN CANS,
POLYSTYRENE CUPS AND CONTAINERS.
NOT SUITABLE FOR FOOD
WASTE AND LIQUIDS.
A simple test of a
sack’s overall tensile strength is whilst holding it
vertically the pull across the sack in a horizontal
position from both sides. It should stretch, but
not tear easily.
